Biography
Venetia Boyd has taken her love and talent for interior decorating and turned it into her own business in association with Decor&You, the nation’s most exciting and fastest growing interior decorating company. Venetia firmly believes that every home should reflect the personality and style of the family residing there. She takes pride in offering her clients decorating 'IQ' - interiors of quality -that provide them with a look of their own. Using the vast Decor&You network of available resources, Venetia is able to provide the very latest and best decorating advice, products, furnishings and services. What her clients seem to love most about Venetia, though, is her ability to work with them, listen to their needs, and then develop a unique DecorPlan suited to their taste and preferences that can be implemented all at once or in steps. 'My goal is to assist my clients in achieving a space they will ABSOLUTELY LOVE”, says Venetia.
"After all, their space is their ‘sanctuary’-their place of personal retreat- and should reflect who they are and be a place of comfort and peace.' Venetia can also meet the decorating needs of the commercial arena, whether it be a corporate environment, a home business, a restaurant, a doctor's office, or any public facility as such. She believes that today's workplace environment should provide an appeasing atmosphere that creates harmony, a comforting mood, as well as functionality. As Venetia explains, 'A well decorated workplace helps the flow and ease of production and sets the tone for positive interactions'. Venetia’s studies in the field of Interior Design consist of the Sheffield School of Interior Design in NY, and extensive training with Decor&You which included advanced design concepts with internationally acclaimed designer and author Mary Gilliatt.
In addition to her passion in Interior Decorating, Venetia is gifted in many other arts, such as drawing, painting, floral design, singing, & event planning. She is a seamstress, a creator of greeting cards and a professional photographer.
